Come and unwind at Jungle Cabins El Escondido, a tranquil jungle paradise in the province of Matagalpa in Nicaragua.
Here you will discover a wide variety of tropical plants and animals, watch countless colourful birds, be mesmerised by howler monkeys, and spot the occasional sloth from your own private veranda. From your comfortable cabin you can hike through the forests and fields and take in breathtaking views while you look for the hidden waterfall. And to cool off after your hike you can take a refreshing outdoor shower or go for a dip in the natural swimming pond.
Jungle Cabins El Escondido is located on finca El Escondido, a Dutch owned finca of around 100 manzana (70 hectare) close to the town of Muy Muy. At the finca, we ecologically grow coffee, vanilla, cacao and turmeric alongside the homemade production of honey, coffee, chocolate, milk and timber.
At the finca there are three comfortable, private jungle cabins and a charming treehouse with views over the lake. Each one is surrounded by tropical plants and fabulous wildlife. From the privacy of your generous sized veranda, you can enjoy the sounds of birds, howler monkeys, crickets and much more.
