How to reach us
By car from Muy Muy
1. Take the dirt road from the main road for 5 km. See signs.
2. Turn left at a local school, where you find a rock with ‘Escondido’.
3. After 800 m, you will enter the finca ‘El Escondido’
By public transport from Managua and Matagalpa
- Take the bus to Rio Blanco from the Mayoreo Market in Managua . Or take the bus from Matagalpa in the direction of Rio Blanco.
- Get off in Muy Muy after about 2-3 hours from Managua, or 1,5 hours from Matagalpa.
- Take a taxi to Finca el Escondido (taxidrivers know the place well; it will cost 300 cordobas); there is also a bus (to Santa Fe) going up twice a day: at 7.00 a.m and 1.00 p.m. Go up till Valerias shop, leave the bus and turn left. It is 800 m walk from here.
